During the COVID-19 crisis in Bangladesh, the national helpline 333 played a vital role in supporting citizens. It provided telemedicine services through a pool of 4,000+ doctors, helping over 350,000 people safely consult physicians from home. The helpline also coordinated emergency food relief, reaching over 46,000 families in need.
Launched in 2018 by the a2i programme, 333 has responded to 4.4 million+ calls, prevented 5,400+ child marriages, and addressed 18,000+ social issues. Available 24/7, it continues to offer essential support without bureaucratic delays.
